Justin Tucker Does Not Want Extra Points Eliminated

Ravens kicker Justin Tucker definitely has a problem with the NFL eliminating the extra point play.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said the NFL’s competition committee would consider eliminating the extra point. If this goes through, the touchdown would be worth seven points and the team would have the option of going for an 8th point with a run or pass play. If that team does not get the 8th point, then the touchdown will only be worth six points. Last season, the kickoff was moved from the 30 to the 35 yard line to prevent major collisions.

“For what it’s worth, I like the extra point. Tucker said. “I like doing my job ad I think it’s one of those things in the game that sometimes is taken for granted.”
