Baltimore Ravens Offensive Coordinator Jim Caldwell is scheduled to be interviewed with the Detroit Lions and the Washington Redskins. He deserves plenty of credit for helping the Ravens win a Super Bowl last season. ting No one seemed interested in him last year, however the offensive coordinator is having some interest to pursue other coaching positions for 2014.
Caldwell became the head coach for the Indianapolis Colts in 2009 when Tony Dungy stepped down and he took the Colts to the Super Bowl in his first year. They went to the playoffs again the following year, but because Peyton Manning missed the entire 2011 season, Caldwell was fired after going 2-14.
Caldwell was a quarterbacks coach and assistant head coach in Indianapolis for seven years before moving up to the head coaching position. The Ravens won the Super Bowl last year after Jim Caldwell was replaced by Cam Cameron as the offensive coordinator, but the team struggled on that side of the ball this season.
Good luck Mr. Caldwell.
