Kicker Justin Tucker, right guard Marshal Yanda, outside linebacker Terrell Suggs and defensive tackle Haloti Ngata have been elected to the 2013 Pro Bowl. These men have proven to be a wrecking force with the Ravens.

This will be Tucker’s first trip. He made 35 of 38 field-goal attempts this year and had 33 consecutive field goals, the fourth-longest ever in the NFL. Tucker’s 35 field goals is the most in the NFL.

“What an incredible honor it is to be recognized like this by the players, coaches and fans of the NFL,” Tucker stated. “I am truly blessed to represent such a world-class organization, the Baltimore Ravens, and all of our fans who make up Ravens Nation.”

Marsha Yanda will be going for the third straight year as one of the league’s best guard. Although coming back from offseason shoulder surgery, he has been a steady force on the Ravens offensive line.

Suggs is an old-timer here. This will be his sixth visit (2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013). He had nine sacks in the Ravens’ first eight games. He notched his 10th sack against Tom Brady and the Patriots last Sunday.

“This is awesome, and I have to thank God for blessing me again,” Suggs stated. “I also have to thank the most amazing fans in the world for voting. I can’t thank them enough. I also want thank coach Harbaugh and my teammates for the constant push, and I must give a special credit to coach [Ted] Monachino for the outstanding coaching.”

Haloti Ngata will be making his fifth consecutive trip. He is playing better this year than in previous seasons. Ngata has 1.5 sacks and 45 tackles.

“I’ve been blessed with so much, and I’m very thankful to be recognized as one of the NFL’s top players,” Ngata said.
