Ravens bring it home!

Pittsburgh Steelers v Baltimore Ravens

Exciting, thrilling, physical, scuffling, hard-hitting. Yes, it was all of that! The Ravens pulled it off by winning their 2nd in a row home game against their rivals, the Pittsburgh Steelers. The winning score was 22-20 Ravens.

3rd quarter

Justin Tucker was hot! He made 2 field goals, one at 34 yards and the other at 38 yards. These totaled his 25th consecutive field goal.

Jacoby Jones returned a 73 yard kickoff. He was bolting done the sideline towards a touchdown but had to swerve because Pittsburgh Coach Mike Tomlin stepped onto the field. There was no contact and Tomlin jumped away but Jones had to cut right toward the middle of the field and was tackled from behind by Cortez Allen. That should have been a penalty. Then he was caught on camera with a smirk on his face afterwards. What a loser!

4th quarter

Touchdown made by Heath Miller was overturned because his helmet came off. He caught a pass from quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and also caught a major helmet smack from Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith. Both were knocked out! What a hit! He sacrificed his body for nothing. Luckily, they both walked off the field. The Ravens fans clapped when Heath Miller stood up. We fans are rivals but we are classy!

Jacksonville Jaguars v Pittsburgh Steelers
Justin Tucker makes another field goal of 48 yards. Talk about power! He deserves an MVP award.

At 4th and goal, Steelers quarterback Roethlisberger completed a pass to Jerricho Cotchery for a touchdown, which brings the score to 20-22. The Steelers attempted a 2-point conversion pass but failed when the football slipped through the hands of Emmanuel Sanders. Aww…too bad, so sad.

Baltimore didn’t get a sack and didn’t force a turnover, but played well enough to bottle up Roethlisberger and the Steelers for the majority of the game.
