Sadly, a 48-year-old Dan Clark fell down the steps of the upper deck inside the seating bowl of the M&T Bank stadium during the first half of the Jets-Ravens game on Sunday. He was taken to University of Maryland Shock Trauma in serious condition.
Jim Clark, the victim’s brother said he went to the restroom and when he returned, his brother, Dan, was lying at the bottom of the stairs at Section 521 in a “pool of blood” while being surrounded by stadium workers.
According to Jim Clark, his brother underwent brain surgery Sunday night and as of Monday, he was in serious condition.
Tone it down fans, it’s just a game. On November 24th, a fan fell from the upper deck of the Ralph Wilson stadium during a Buffalo Bills game. This over-excited fan was trying to slide down a railing after the Jets won the game and he fell on and injured another fan. He was doing what? Sliding down a rail in the upper deck? He must have been suicidal. He was banned from the stadium and fired from his job. What a way to go!!! Last Sunday, a woman tried to attempt suicide by jumping 45 feet from the upper deck of the Oakland Raiders stadium. This happened after the Raiders loss to the Titans.
Was she that upset or was it something else? Why go to a football game to attempt suicide? Talk about a cry for help.
